The most important to my life are all that are important to believe in as a Jew:
ReplyDelete#1 - Belief in the existence of the Creator, who is perfect in every manner of existence and is the Primary Cause of all that exists. --> Hashem is our one and only God, if you do not believe in Hashem you obviously do not believe in Judaism
#5 - The imperative to worship G-d exclusively and no foreign false gods. --> as a Jew you must believe in this because it is one of our ten commandments
#8 - The belief in the divine origin of the Torah. --> the Torah is the basis of Judaism and where we learn all the rules of our religion
--> Though I only stated a few principles, every principle of faith is important in Judaism
Belief in the existence of the Creator, who is perfect in every manner of existence and is the Primary Cause of all that exists. If a Jew did not believe that there is a Hashem that created ever-loving being and every single thing in the world then how could they be considered Jewish? The only reason for keeping all of these strict mitzvot, some of which we don't even understand, is because we believe that there is a G-d that controls the whole entire world, but is still each person's personal G-d. What's the point if we aren't serving anyone. If not for the belief in Hashem there would be no laws, no restrictions, and no Judaism. That is why I believe that this is the most power mount principle of faith.
ReplyDeleteThe principle I mainly connect to is The belief in the arrival of the Messiah and the messianic era. It's nice to know there is always a happy ending. There is now something to always look forward to and have hope. Our nation will be saved, freed and get redemption. The second one I Connect to is The belief in G-d's eternity. This helps support my previous opinion about messiah. God is eternal so we know he will eventually follow up on his plan and keep his promise to us and save us. The last one I connect to is The belief in divine reward and retribution. I know that I deserve what I get. If I do good I will get good and if I do bad I'll get bad. This is just like karma. The 13 principles of Jewish faith are very important. They are extremely accurate and really capture our beliefs.

#11: The belief in divine reward and retribution.
ReplyDeleteThis Ani Mamin is the most important and relatable to me because its something that you see every day in life. G-d gives fair judgement and he knows that if you do something good you should get a reward and he knows that if you sin you deserve a punishment.
Like in daily life, you get what you deserve from your actions. If I do something good, my parents will congratulate me and maybe buy me something. but, if I do something that is worthy of a punishment, my parents will surely give it to me.

ReplyDeleteI believe that everything that happens is for a reason and is from hashem. We take everything for granted in this life we don't even relixe how amazing it is to look out side the window and see trees birds the sky people walking in the streets. God did so much for us and we don't even realize. hahsem created us for a purpose and we have to repay him for letting us wake up in the morning and going to an amazing school having a loving family that is able to provide for us. Sometimes we don't realize how lucky we are and we should always think that yes God gave us this life and it's ours but he has more then enough power to take it away. So we should think about how powerful god is and how much he can do

ReplyDeleteI believe in all the principles but here are a few:
1. To believe in Hashem not another god
2. To believe that Mashiach will come (if we all act good in Hashem's eyes)
3. That Hashem will not change any laws in the Torah.(the Torah is the same Torah that Hashem gave to Moshe)
4. Hashem knows what we all think.(we may think that no one knows what's we are doing but really Hashem knows)
5. Anyone who does good will be rewarded. Anyone who does bad will be punished.
However, all 13 are extremely important
I think that the first one is the most important because believing in Hashem as our God/the creator is the first step of becoming Jewish. I also think that in order to really believe in Judaism, you have to believe in the torah (number 8) because the torah stated the history of our religion (how Judaism came to be).
ReplyDeleteEven though I only listed two of the 13 principals of faith I believe that all of them are important to Judaism.
I honestly believe that all of them are important and find it difficult to have to choose one that stands out the most to me. Although i believe that if I had to choose the most important one to me is the first one: believing in Hashem. I think this because if one doesn't believe in Hashem the G-d of this world and specifically to the Jews than how could that one person call themselves a Jew?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why this came u as unknown but this is yael.
